In the financial year 2011, Trace Group turned over £11.7m - a 5% year-on-year increase.
A significant part of this turnover derived from service-based revenues and long terms clients. Last year these revenues covered 73% of our total costs, providing the Group with a significant degree of long term financial security.
Research and Development
But we never rest on those laurels, and remain completely committed to innovation. Each year we spend approximately 10% of turnover on research and development. This is a vital area of expenditure as it is impossible to offer best of breed customer service without similarly remarkable software.

Turnover by Group company
Group companies operate in diverse business sectors, but are well balanced across them. The Group is therefore able to meet the challenge of downturns in any specific sector.

The Group is almost entirely owned by its staff and directors. Founder Richard Wolfe retains a small shareholding, as does a charitable trust which exists to provide a benevolent fund for former employees.
As a consequence we benefit from a highly committed and motivated workforce.
